Enjoy the classic foods of Chicago on this self-guided tour of the Loop. You can't visit without eating a Chicago Dog, Deep Dish Pizza and an Italian Beef sandwich. Experience all 3 plus an extra locally-sourced sandwich that should not be missed and a famous local snack for dessert.
At each stop, you'll learn the history of each food. As an immigrant town, Chicago's cuisine is the result of the influences of the people who settled here from other parts of the world. They brought what they knew and gave it new life.
Days for this tour, due to restaurant hours, are Monday-Saturday between 11am-5pm. This tour can be done for one person (with leftovers likely) but most economical for 2 or more. Each location with have recommendations of what and how to order. And whatever you do, DO NOT ask for ketchup on your hot dog! #absolutelynoketchup
